Our client is a global leader in the engineering solutions space and is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join a well-established team to drive growth internationally. With recent strategic acquisitions and expansion, this is a pivotal role that offers the opportunity to manage key accounts and develop new business for a wide range of high-spec products used in a wide range of engineering applications.

Based out of the North East between Middlesborough and Newcastle this role will be reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. Whilst the role will be UK based there will be an international reach with 30% of time committed with international travel.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies across international markets. The ability to develop proactive and strategic approach to account management and new clients is paramount. You will liaise across engineering and commercial teams globally with a strong influence in engineering manufacturing sectors.

We are looking for someone with a credible background in developing engineering solutions with a strong sales / commercial focus. The ability to hold influence through design to manufacture, quality as well as HSE will come from being time served in an engineering role. This role would suits someone looking to join a well-established group that is keen to engage internationally and develop a long standing client base but has ambition to drive new business.
