Our clientWe are delighted to be working with a highly innovative and successful industrial site in Teesside to recruit a Junior Mechanical Engineer. The opportunityThe successful candidate will assist in managing and executing mechanical projects in plant, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, design, and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
Support the development and review of project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to ensure project success.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
Prepare technical documentation and reports.

About youAs an enthusiastic and ambitious Engineer, you will have:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role in industry or undergraduate placement.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, and piping.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
