Our clientWe are delighted to be working with a highly innovative and successful industrial site in Teesside to recruit a Junior Mechanical Engineer. The opportunityThe successful candidate will assist in managing and executing mechanical projects in plant, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
  • Support the development and review of project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to ensure project success.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports.
About youAs an enthusiastic and ambitious Engineer, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role in industry or undergraduate placement.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, and piping.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
