Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process, utilising both hand and power tools to ensure high-quality production standards. This position requires mechanical knowledge and experience in a warehouse environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, reporting any significant concerns to supervisors.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during production.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools proficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tasks.
