Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a growing organisation in the recruitment of a Construction Accounts Manager to join their existing team. Reporting to the FD this role will play a crucial role in delivering high-end residential projects.Â
Day-to-day of the role:- Responsible for managing the accounts of all construction projects.
- Support the construction team with all areas of project accounting.
- Conduct reconciliation of provisional costs for each project.
- Prepare project reports from Sage and labour costs for Estimator analysis and Project Manager valuations.
- Manage the construction sales ledger.
- Assist the construction team with purchasing and supplier accounts for construction projects.
- Provide the ‘core’ accounts team with reconciled information.
- Perform ad hoc finance reporting duties as necessary, including covering for the ‘core’ accounts team as required.
- Proficiency in Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
