Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a growing organisation in the recruitment of a Construction Accounts Manager to join their existing team.  Reporting to the FD this role will play a crucial role in delivering high-end residential projects. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Responsible for managing the accounts of all construction projects.
  • Support the construction team with all areas of project accounting.
  • Conduct reconciliation of provisional costs for each project.
  • Prepare project reports from Sage and labour costs for Estimator analysis and Project Manager valuations.
  • Manage the construction sales ledger.
  • Assist the construction team with purchasing and supplier accounts for construction projects.
  • Provide the ‘core’ accounts team with reconciled information.
  • Perform ad hoc finance reporting duties as necessary, including covering for the ‘core’ accounts team as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
