SEN Teacher - Secondary (English or Maths Specialism)

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school that provides a nurturing, high-quality learning environment for students with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC).

About the Role:

Teach English or Maths at secondary level (experienced primary teachers with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply).
Work in a well-resourced school with exceptional facilities, including a sensory room, woodland outdoor space, and swimming pool.
Lead a class team, ensuring students' academic, social, and pastoral needs are met.
Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Monitor student progress, set personalised education targets, and lead annual reviews with key stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English or Maths at secondary level (or strong experience in primary with transferable skills).
Passionate about supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly SLCN and ASC.
Committed to inclusion, creativity, and personalised learning approaches.

Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available).
