SEN Teacher - Secondary (English or Maths Specialism)
Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school that provides a nurturing, high-quality learning environment for students with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC).
About the Role:
- Teach English or Maths at secondary level (experienced primary teachers with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply).
- Work in a well-resourced school with exceptional facilities, including a sensory room, woodland outdoor space, and swimming pool.
- Lead a class team, ensuring students' academic, social, and pastoral needs are met.
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Monitor student progress, set personalised education targets, and lead annual reviews with key stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English or Maths at secondary level (or strong experience in primary with transferable skills).
- Passionate about supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly SLCN and ASC.
- Committed to inclusion, creativity, and personalised learning approaches.
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available).
