Line Leader
Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire
Hours of work: 6:30am start, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
***Overtime is available***
Pay : £12.31 per hour
Our client has had an increase in business and are looking to expand their team!
Responsibilities include:
- Liaise with Packhouse Supervisors and Production Supervisors.
- Coordinating production line workflow to meet the orders.
- Planning and prioritising workload to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime.
- Monitoring line speed and addressing issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption to production
- Ensuring all related company procedures are adhered to.
- Keeping relevant paperwork up to date.
- Proactively support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Maintaining a high standard of house keeping
- Ensure the appropriate PPE is worn within the packing area
Skills and experience:
- The successful candidate will ideally have a production background.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to think outside the box.
- Own transport is essential due to location of the company.
- Flexibility with working hours.
