About the Role:We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join a well-established company on a permanent basis. This role offers job security, a supportive work environment, and excellent career opportunities.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday 2 Shift Rotation
- AM - Monday to Thursday 05:45 till 14:00 & Friday 05:45 till 11:45
- PM Monday to Thursday 14:15 till 22:30 & Friday 12:00 till 18:00
Rate of Pay:
- £15.93 per hour (AM Shift)
- £17.38 per hour (PM Shift Inc Shift Allowance)
- Piece Work + Overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Set up and program CNC machinery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Load materials and monitor machine performance
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Communicate effectively with management and colleagues
- Perform routine maintenance and assist in training new operatives
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in CNC setting and operating
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
