Sites Contracts Manager | Bilston, West Midlands | Full Time | £50,000 - £60,000

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer or experienced Sites Manager seeking a challenging and rewarding career?

We are looking for a driven professional to manage and execute engineering projects from concept to completion. Join our team and play a vital role in delivering efficient, safe, cost-effective solutions for our clients.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • 3-5 years in mechanical engineering or site management, with expertise in construction or industrial sectors
  • Able to manage teams, internal employees and sub-contractors.
  • Effective communicator, ability troubleshoot problems, works well under pressure
  • Apprenticeship or work experience in fabrication or engineering
  • Highly beneficial of you are experienced in Coded Welding and Pressure Pipework/industrial boilers
  • SMSTS or IOSH/NEBOSH certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus but not essential.
  • More than qualifications, the employer values your initiative, team spirit, and drive to succeed
  • This role does require travel across the UK. Its essential you have a full driving license

What will your role look like?

  • Overseeing works across multiple sites in the UK – travel as required
  • Kick-off meetings with the sales team, assessing project needs, and liaising with design teams
  • Organising labour, materials, tools, and equipment for projects
  • Conducting site visits, ensuring safety compliance, and motivating your team
  • Building strong client relationships and providing progress reports
  • Preparing risk assessments, and method statements, and ensuring all site activities meet safety standards
  • Approving timesheets, supply chain invoices, and assisting with project estimates
