EYFS Teaching Assistant

Classroom Link are recruiting for a number of EYFS trained and experienced staff to join the lovely team at our partnered nursery school in Wolverhampton.

The nursery school has been ratedOutstandingby Ofsted and boasts fantastic facilities designed to support childrens learning and development, along with a dedicated, supportive staff team committed to providing the best care and education for every child.

There are a number of vacancies; some have immediate starts and others have April 2025. All roles are full time positions requiring you to work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4pm term time only.

Are you passionate about early years education? Do you enjoy supporting children in their learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our friendly team at a well-established nursery school in Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children aged 2-4 years.
• Support childrens social, emotional, and cognitive development in a nurturing environment.
• Help with the planning and preparation of activities to meet individual needs.
• Provide one-on-one support for children who may need additional assistance.
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, welcoming, and stimulating place for children to learn and grow.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety guidelines at all times.

Essential Skills & Qualities:

• A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
• Experience working with children, ideally within an early years or nursery setting.
• A patient, caring, and approachable manner.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of child development and early years education.
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field (or working towards it).
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
