Job Title:Engineering Shift Manager

Location: Wolverhampton

Shift:4 on 4 off DAYS ONLY - 5:30am to 5:30pm

Salary: £56,000 per annum

Benefits: 20 days holiday, company pension scheme, life insurance, 20 days holiday and opportunities for growth and development.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritise tasks for the engineering team to maintain optimal production performance.
  • Lead the team of 4-10 engineers from the front motivating and developing to foster a positive culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implement and improve health and safety procedures ensuring all adhere to the HACCP and HSE standards.
  • Root cause analysis with the team for downtime offering and implemented recommendations.

What Were Looking For:

  • Time served / apprentice trained (NVQ / BTEC Level 3) in an Engineering Discipline
  • Continuous improvement experience and the ability to offer lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience with managing teams of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers
