Our client is established raw materials manufacturer and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer.
We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience to take on a Monday to Friday (days) based role at our client's production facility near Bilston.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the 'day to day' mechanical and electrical maintenance, service and repair of production plant & machinery.
You will be required to maintain equipment including but not limited to the following;
- Mixing plant, silos, screw feeders
- Weighing and bagging equipment
- Overhead cranes
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors
- Extraction units & vents
- Single & 3 phase electrical fault find and repair
- Control panels, sensors, relays, switch gear, contactors etc et
Candidate:
You will be a multi-skilled engineer ideally with excellent mechanical and electrical fault find and repair skills.
You will have a recognised mechanical and ideally electrical engineering qualification and you will have excellent knowledge and understanding of 3 phase electrics, pumps / valves, motors, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Ideally you will have good welding / fabrication and toolroom skills.
You will be hard working, enthusiastic and highly motivated as essentially this will be a maintenance role of your own making.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm (1 Hour Lunch)
