Job Description
As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective distribution of goods. Your primary focus will be on logistic planning, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high standards of customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products.
  • Coordinate and manage the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Monitor and analyse logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to optimise the supply chain process.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock without overstocking.
  • Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure the best rates and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports related to logistics operations.
  • Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role, with a strong background in logistic planning.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
