In this position, you will be supporting children of all-year groups with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the school's Specialist Resource provision. Working alongside the class teacher and the SENCO, you will be following their EHCP plans, delivering learning activities, working with pupils 1:1 and in groups and logging their progress and giving feedback to the parents and carers.What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ Level 2 Qualification in supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Makaton training is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Ability to support children at all levels, particularly those with SEND.
  • Commitment to working within a team to provide quality services for children and families.
