Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SLD.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes communication, independence, and emotional well-being.
• Assess, monitor, and record progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) targets are met.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support for students.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to support students' development both inside and outside the classroom.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, in line with the school's ethos and policies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
