Your new role as an Aluminium MIG Welder:
- Fabricate and assemble aluminium metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Using the overhead crane for your own work
- Perform welding tasks using mig and other techniques
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and finish metal parts
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What you’ll need to succeed:
- You MUST have Aluminium MIG Welding experience.
- You MUST have overhead crane experience.
- You must be able to do rotating shifts weekly.
- You will have basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance would be beneficial
- You will have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- You will have good attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
