Our client, a leading online distributor delivering exceptional service and an extensive product range to customers across the UK are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager to join their team and help drive their continued growth.

As an Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for a specific online retailer. This includes managing pricing strategies, expanding product ranges, handling customer enquiries and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact for the assigned account, building and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Monitor account performance, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or opportunities.
  • Review and manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Research and add new product ranges to meet market demand and customer expectations.
  • Work with the purchasing team to negotiate supplier pricing and ensure stock availability.
  • Handle and resolve customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, pricing adjustments and product sales.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales, marketing and supply chain, to align efforts and achieve company goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in account management is essential, within e-commerce platforms and online distribution
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage pricing and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and experience with CRM software.
