Catering Assistant

Location: Manston, Ramsgate

Salary: £12.36 per hour

Hours: Sunday - Thursday, with Friday & Saturday as days off, 08:00 - 16:00.

Temp to Perm for the right candidate

Our client, a reputable catering company in Manston, Ramsgate, seeks a reliable Catering Assistant to work alongside their chefs in a back-of-house role. This is a fantastic opportunity to start on a temp-to-perm basis with a competitive hourly rate of £12.36

The Role:

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the team that ensures smooth breakfast and lunch service. You’ll have the chance to build your catering skills with the support of experienced chefs while taking on various tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing and serving breakfast and lunch items
Prepare baguettes, fruit platters, and other light food items
Work independently when needed, with support from the Head Chef and team

Ideal Candidate:

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn on the job
Team player who can communicate effectively
Comfortable with early shifts, starting at 6:00 am
Basic kitchen skills are a plus, though full support and training will be provided
