We are working with a growing organisation in the Ramsgate area who are looking for a Warehouse Operations Associate to join their team on a permanent basis, in office.

You will play a crucial role in the operations, ensuring the smooth handling of goods and materials.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Daily picking and packing of orders with an obsessive eye for detail and efficiency.
  2. Plan your day and work efficiently to meet your daily picking targets.
  3. Proactively support other members of the team and change your day plan to assist wider team goals.
  4. Strive to deliver a good customer experience by continuously focusing on picking quality and error reduction.
  5. Monitor consumables stock, such as packaging supplies and flag it for re-order ahead of time.
  6. Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment at all times.
  7. Package items securely with appropriate materials and as per shipping label restrictions.
  8. Sort outbound shipments into correct carrier collection areas and prepare for daily collections.
  9. Regularly inspect and monitor products for any defects and ensure they are disposed of.
  10. Efficiently operate production equipment to finish patches ready for next stage of production.
  11. Strictly adhere to health & safety policies, standard operating procedures, staff handbook and other policies set out to you without fail.
  12. Progress to learning our distribution and manufacturing software systems and aspire to be promoted to this function.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Warehouse/Store Operative position.
  • Willingness to learn new things, positive attitude, punctual and sociable.
  • Strong common sense and resilience skills.
  • Genuine desire to help people, do good and incorporate this in your work.
  • Able to provide two references you are happy for us to contact, of which one must be your most recent employer.
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license and able to get to work each day.
  • Lives within a commutable distance of the site.
