Position: Production Mixing Operator

Location: Birkenhead

Hours: Monday - Friday (Days)

Salary: 25,350p/a

HRGO recruitment are looking for a Permanent Production Operator to work within the mixing department, this is a great opportunity which has come about due to the expansion of the business, previous experience within a production/warehouse environment, and previous experience working with chemicals would be an advantage.

Duties:

Safely operate plant equipment.

Follow batch sheets and adhere to company standard operating procedures to ensure RFT (Right First Time).

Identify correct raw materials and batch numbers for batch mixing.

Correctly deliver the administrative process including ensuring batch sheets are completed accurately.

Accurately weigh/measure and record the raw materials used.

Convert different units of measure accurately (kg, litres, specific gravity etc.)

Package hazardous finished products by hazardous goods procedures.

Work closely with the technical team to ensure test results meet specifications, highlighting any quality issues.

Monitor the equipment within the production facility and report defects.

Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.

Skills:

Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals is desirable

Previous experience of manual or semi-automated processing operations in an industrial or heavy engineering environment

Competent and conversant in verbal and written English language

FLT experience in warehouse (high bay racking) preferred
