Our team is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and comfort of those in our care, and we are currently looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Night Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

Job Description:
As a Night Healthcare Assistant in Hilbre House, Hoylake, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our residents during the night shifts. You will be responsible for supporting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times, and providing assistance as needed throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including assistance with mobility, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Ensuring residents’ safety and well-being throughout the night.
  • Observing and monitoring residents’ health conditions, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
  • Keeping accurate records of care provided and residents' progress.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and other members of the care team.
  • Assisting with housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential. We offer training and support.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • A willingness to undertake further training and development.
  • Flexibility and a commitment to working night shifts on a full-time basis.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
