Our client is seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join their team in Birkenhead on a temp to perm contract. You will play a crucial role in the production process, working with precision to assemble components that meet high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in skilled assembly work and/or fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing excellent results.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Pay: 14-16 per hour, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble components and products according to specifications and drawings.
Use a variety of hand tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet the required standards before leaving the production area.
Collaborate with the team to improve processes and enhance overall productivity.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in skilled assembly work and/or fabrication.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to assembly and fabrication.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
