Interim HR Advisor - Temporary Ongoing - Birkenhead - 28,000 - 30,000

Our client in Birkenhead is currently recruiting for an Interim HR Advisor to support them through a period of change. As HR Advisor, you will report into the HR Director and form part of the wider HR Team. You will have a passion for HR and enjoy supporting the business operationally from the ground up. This is an ongoing temporary position to cover leave of absence. The role is based on site full time. Working hours are 8am-4.30am Monday to Thursday ad 8.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays.

Responsibilities include:

* Prepare monthly payroll in line with Payroll deadlines
* Support with recruitment, working alongside Managers from advert to offer
* Prepare contracts of employment
* Be the first point of contact for advice on absence, capability, grievance & disciplinary issues
* Support and coach Managers in all aspects of HR policy and procedure
* Organise and attend absence management review meetings
* Attend and support in investigations and disciplinary meetings
* Support with Learning & Development and identifying training needs
* Update HRIS
* Maintain an electronic Time & Attendance system
* Full lifecycle of HR Administration
* MI & reporting
* Support with Occupational Health appointments/referrals
* Support with HR projects

A solid HR generalist and a true problem solver, you will seek improvements where needed and enjoy owning a process from start to finish. You will support with process improvements and specific projects. You will need to be assertive and be able to challenge in a professional manner whilst maintaining positive working relationships. The nature of this role requires a collaborative approach and demonstrable experience of working as part of a team.

This role is working alongside a fantastic HR Director who will mentor and support. Ideally you will be CIPD level 5 with generalist HR experience within a manufacturing/logistics, unionised environment. Our client is looking for someone who is a seasoned HR Advisor who can hit the ground running.
