Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher from September on a full-time basis to cover a 12 Month Maternity leave. The successful SEND teacher will be working in Year 7 teaching across the curriculum so a broad understanding of the whole curriculum is essential. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, ADHD and SEMH.nderstanding
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
