TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND provision based in Wirral (CH43). The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher from September on a full-time basis to cover a 12 Month Maternity leave. The successful SEND teacher will be working in Year 7 teaching across the curriculum so a broad understanding of the whole curriculum is essential. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
