The School and Role

This small, Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school in Birkenhead, Wirral are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher to work in their year 2 class on a full-time basis for the Spring term.  The role will start in January until Easter, with the possibility of continuing until the end of the academic year. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school who have a well-deserved reputation for their high-academic and extra-curricular achievements.   Teaching and non-teach staff demonstrate high levels of dedication, are passionate about learning, and are keen to work at the forefront of new educational thinking.  As the year 2 Teacher, you will be encouraged and supported to get creative in lesson planning, working with children who continue to impress with their enthusiasm, cheerfulness and courteous behaviour. 

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
