Your new company
A two from entry primary school based in Birkenhead are looking to appoint a teacher to cover in lower key stage 2 asap.

This role is part time working Wednesday - Friday and is ongoing, potentially for the rest of this academic year.

Your new role
You will be joining a hard-working and supportive team, who all have a genuine passion for creating an environment where all children can achieve. This past year the staff have had a real focus on adaptive teaching and retrieval to assist children in learning well, and that will continue in the future.
As one of four lower KS2 teachers, you will work as part of a team ensuring lessons are engaging and accessible to all. The headteacher and SLT invest a lot in their staff, so you will have plenty of CPD opportunities to help you enhance your skills and will be encouraged to use specialist subjects to promote learning throughout the school.

What you'll need to succeed
For this lower key stage 2 teaching job, the headteacher is looking to appoint a teacher who is proactive and positive, and will share the school's ethos and passion for the role. They want someone who is interested in research-based practice and is up-to-date with current pedagogy. Someone who can display a subject strength, and a willingness to develop that strength in the future would also be an advantage.
