We are currently seeking an interim Product Performance Testing Technician to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based at our client's scientific Research & Development facility in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to 26,354 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

Within this role you will work to support Laundry Liquids and Capsules projects, specifically supporting the Product Performance Testing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation (washing, labelling) and organisation of various fabrics for performance testing
  • Stock management of relevant fabrics to meet planned testing requirements
  • Supporting the running of the Demin water plant, including making stock solutions
  • Complete measurements using a scanner to support project teams
  • Attending team meetings as appropriate

  • Ability to work within multi-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisation and planning skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and Word
  • Experience in preparation of fabric for appraisal testing beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in making stock solutions and titrations beneficial but not essential
