In this position you’ll be working for a well-established building and engineering company. Roles and responsibilities:
The ideal Project Manager will be responsible for acting as the senior representative to clients, building strong relationships, aligning project goals, and providing updates. You’ll oversee projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring all design, technical, and financial requirements are met, while coordinating with stakeholders and leading teams to ensure success. Key responsibilities include monitoring project risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates bring experience in marine fabrication, defence contracting, and shipyard processes, along with commercial acumen, project management certification (APM or PRINCE2), and proficiency with project management tools.
Essential:

  • Experience in Marine Fabrication / Construction
  • MoD experience
  • Strong Leadership
  • APM / Prince 2 Project Management Qualification
