We are working with an education provider in the Merseyside area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Workshop Trainer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.
The successful candidates would be based at the education provider's centre in the Merseyside area, where they would be asked to deliver training to Mechanical Engineering learners on their hands-on machining and maintenance skills (up to level 3) in their workshop.
The starting salary for this position is up to 35,000 per annum, and the package also includes a pension, Mersey Tunnel fees, a health/life plan, and 38 days paid holiday (including statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
-Industrial experience of hands-on Mechanical Engineering
-A passion to pass on your Mechanical Engineering skills
Please note that the education provider can consider skilled industry candidates who are looking to move into training, and would be able to assist you with achieving your teaching qualification on the job (as well as paying for the course).
