Trained Teacher with QTS - Science Specialism
Are you an ECT or an experience teacher looking to work within a SENS school.
I am currently supporting a school who are looking for either a primary trained teacher or secondary trained to work in a school with pupils with challenging behaviour.
Is Science a subject specialism and would you be comfortable delivering science curriculum to KS3 pupils of varying abilities.
The right candidate will hold a UK QTS qualification, alongside an honours degree in a relevant subject, and will have experience teaching across at least two key stages. You will have a good understanding of the requirements of the science national curriculum and the skills to engage all learners effectively. You will be a proactive member of the team, demonstrating initiative and a can-do approach, as well as being agile and able to respond to the changing needs in your environment. You will have an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation and implement this in accordance with trust-wide and school policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching across Key Stages 2, 3&4
- Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge
