Position: Engineering Stores Person / Store Keeper
Are you an experienced Engineering Stores Person / Store Keeper looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent role? Our client, based in Birkenhead, is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain engineering stores, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient stock control.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance in compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
- Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) safely and efficiently.
- Perform PAT Testing on electrical equipment.
- Replace brushes on grinders and other engineering tools.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in an engineering background.
- Familiarity with LOLER and PUWER standards.
- Valid FLT license.
- PAT Testing certification.
- Hands-on experience in replacing brushes on grinders and similar equipment.
Compensation:
- Basic Pay: 15.71 per hour (PAYE only)
- Overtime 1: 1.5x basic pay
- Overtime 2: 2x basic pay
