What You'll Be Doing:
?? Supporting Young People - Provide hands-on care and support tailored to each young person's unique needs, helping them succeed in their care, education, and personal development.
?? Collaborating for Success - Work closely with young people, families, social workers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support is delivered to meet their needs.
?? Safeguarding & Advocacy - Be a trusted advocate for the welfare and safety of young people, ensuring all work follows relevant legislative and procedural guidelines.
?? Planning & Reviewing - Actively participate in care, health, and education planning, working alongside a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for every young person.
?? Promoting Positive Development - Foster a safe, inclusive environment where young people feel supported to grow, learn, and develop both personally and socially.
What We're Looking For:
?? Understanding of Young People's Needs - You know the developmental needs of children and young people and are committed to supporting them emotionally, socially, and educationally.
?? Knowledge of Child Protection - A solid understanding of safeguarding procedures and social care services to ensure the safety of young people at all times.
?? Team Player - You work well with others and can bring sensitivity, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills to the table.
?? Resilience & Motivation - You're able to manage emotional challenges and motivate yourself and others in difficult situations.
?? Commitment to Safeguarding - You're passionate about safeguarding young people and ensuring their welfare is always prioritized.
