BREEAM / Low Carbon Sustainability Intermediate Engineer- required for our client who are a leading M&E consultancy based in the West Midlands. The candidate can be based up to 3 hours travel from the West Midlands as you will only need to report into the office once every two weeks. However, if you do want to be more office based the company will welcome you into the offices and are completely flexible.

This opportunity requires a BREEAM/ Low Carbon Intermediate Engineerfora range of challenging but interesting projects covering the UK, these project will include working within the sectors of the Healthcare, Commercial Offices, education, retail, mixed use and residential schemes.

The BREEAM Low CarbonSustainability Engineerwill ideally have two - three years experience ofproviding sustainability strategy and energy / carbon report related services. Experience/ qualifications in passive design, energy modelling and LCA tools desirable but not essential. Also with a passion for sustainability and building design, renewables and low carbon technology.

BREEAM / Low Carbon Intermediate Engineer positionoverview

  • Undertaking BREEAM and other sustainability assessments.
  • Provide sustainability strategy and energy / low carbon report related services and low carbon assements.
  • Report writing and presentations.
  • Liaise and communicate clearly in a professional manner to clients, contractors and other designers and to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to your work.
  • Management of projects to the agreed budgetary limits and timetables.
  • Maintaining of all necessary records.
  • Keep up to date with sustainable building design, renewables and low carbon technology.
  • Undertake all work collaboratively with colleagues.
