Our client, a leading shopfitting and bespoke joinery company, is seeking a skilled Draughtsperson / CAD Engineer to join their design team. This role will involve creating detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and fabrication drawings for high-quality interior fit-outs and bespoke joinery projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with designers, project managers, and the production team, ensuring all drawings meet client specifications and manufacturing requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD professional with a background in shopfitting, joinery, or interior fit-outs.

CAD Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for manufacturing and site installation.
- Create shop drawings, cutting lists, and fabrication details for bespoke joinery and shopfitting elements.
- Ensure all drawings meet client specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements.
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure feasibility of designs.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify technical requirements.
- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar to produce high-quality drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during manufacturing.

Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Draughtsperson / CAD Engineer in shopfitting, joinery, or interior fit-outs.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or other relevant CAD software.
- Understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
- Relevant qualifications in CAD Design, Engineering, or a related discipline
