Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial catering equipment across various client sites in the hospitality sector. This is a field-based role that involves on-site electrical maintenance and repairs, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety procedures, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced commercial environment.

- Salary17.25 per hour paid door to door
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- 1 in 4 on-call with a 100 standby fee
- 40 hour working week
- Ongoing development and training
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on Commercial Catering Equipment.
- Install electrical components, systems, or equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards and functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve faults or issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution for clients.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.
- Report back to office on completed repairs, parts used, and any further recommendations for improving equipment performance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and electrical codes, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with local laws and industry standards.
- Participate in the 1 in 4 on-call Rota to provide emergency services when required.
Experience Required:
- Approved Electrician, working within field service maintenance.
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence best practice.
- Flexibility to travel and work across various customer sites within the UK.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
- City and Guilds 2391-52.
- City and Guilds 2377 PAT Testing.
