Are you a passionate advocate for student success? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Primary Student Support Manager to join our dedicated pastoral team. In this vital role, you'll play a key part in fostering a positive learning environment by focusing on student behavior, attendance, and personal excellence.

  • Contract: Temp to Permanent
  • Working Pattern: Full-time, term-time only
  • Salary: Pro-rata £21,673 - £26,502 per annum
What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to cultivate a culture of positivity and engagement in learning.
  • Be the First Point of Contact: Serve as the go-to person for parents with questions about their child’s support, ensuring open lines of communication and collaboration.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze attendance, behavior, and well-being data to swiftly identify concerns and craft effective action plans in partnership with the Primary Pastoral Lead.
  • Tailored Support Plans: Identify students who need extra help and implement, monitor, and evaluate personalized support strategies.
  • Run Engaging Interventions: Facilitate various academic interventions and lead vibrant breakfast and afterschool clubs.
  • Promote Play: Coordinate exciting playground games, ensuring that students are actively engaged and safely supervised during lunchtime.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Address issues impacting academic performance promptly and effectively.
  • Empower Parents: Keep parents informed and involved in their child’s pastoral care through regular communication and inviting opportunities for participation.
  • Cultivate a Positive Culture: Help foster an environment of achievement, hard work, and resilience through engaging discussions and school events.
  • Support the Safeguarding Team: Play a crucial role in the safety and well-being of our students.
