THE ROLE:
- Accounts and audit split approx. 50/50
- Assist on audits (approx. 50%) reporting to audit
- Supervise and train audit trainees during assignments
- Preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts using CCH/Iris software
- Preparation of corporation tax computations using CCH/Iris software
- Preparation of client accounts from incomplete records
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Liaising directly with clients
- Part qualified AAT/ACCA (study support will be provided where required)
- Experience of preparing statutory accounts from computerised records or books of prime entry
- Experience of assisting on audits
- Use of accountancy software with Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, CCH and Iris experience an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Car owner
