SF Recruitment is currently working with an interesting and exciting organisation based in Birmingham city centre. They are looking to onboard an Assistant Management Accountant on an interim basis to support the current finance team. There is a strong possibility of the role converting to a permanent contract if the successful candidate excels in the role. The organisation is looking for a dynamic and proactive part-qualified Accountant who is hungry to develop. Offering a really flexible working approach - 1 day in the officer per fortnight. Key tasks: Month End: The role holder will be brought up to speed to assist with carrying out a timely and successful Month End. In addition, this role will pick up responsibility for bank reconciliation, VAT returns and assisting with audits. Grant Claim: The role holder will be brought up to speed to assist with the monthly core grant claims process from the cost Centres: coding checks, consolidating, and submissions, dealing with queries, related reports and forecasting. Additionally: The role holder will support the Finance team in general with other ad-hoc finance duties required to meet the needs of the business. Please get in touch if this sounds of interest.
