Overview

Mitchell Adam are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of an expansive manufacturing organisation in Birmingham. This organisation are seeking an individual with an energetic personality and exposure to management account production to join their talented finance function. Their offices are easily accessible as a result of their close location to major transport hubs and free on-site parking. The role has become available due to growth within the organisation and as an Assistant Management Accountant you will be working closely with a Management Accountant who will be on hand to provide assistance with your tasks and responsibilities.

This organisation has gone through an impressive level of expansion in recent years, and as a result they are hoping to continue to bolster their finance function. In this role, you will be assisting with the management account pack production, posting journals, completing reconciliations on the balance sheet and will be an integral part of the reporting process. Skills Required
  • To be confident and ambitious, this role has a fantastic pathway to becoming a Management Accountant if you are able to produce a high quality of work.
  • To have a strong level of communication skills, as in this role you will be liaising with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
  • To have experience with posting journals such as accruals and prepayments and to have completed reconciliations on both the bank and balance sheet.
  • To be either currently studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to have strong ambitions to complete one of these qualifications.
