Our client, a well-established organisation, is recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to join their fast-paced and evolving finance team. This role will provide vital support to senior leadership, focusing on financial analysis, cost optimisation, and helping to drive business performance across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Accountant:- Collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer and divisional teams to monitor and achieve financial targets, particularly EBITDA.
- Analyse underperforming areas, advising on cost structures and operational improvements.
- Lead cost management projects and deliver financial guidance to non-finance stakeholders.
- Create and manage financial models in Excel and Power BI to support operational decision-making.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, CAPEX evaluations, and financial analyses for new projects, tenders, and acquisitions.
- Assist the revenue management team with fee-setting processes and manage fee uplifts.
- Present financial updates to senior management and participate in key leadership discussions.
- Conduct site visits to better understand operations and ensure financial strategies align with business needs.
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified with significant experience in commercial finance.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-site operations.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and capable of thriving in a fast-moving environment.
