You'll be confident advising a range of businesses, larger and small in varying sectors on all matters of corporate tax advice as well as overseeing the provision of accurate and timely tax compliance services.

Job Purpose

  • Provide trusted advisory to a significant and diverse client portfolio.
  • Manage all commercial aspects of your portfolio.
  • Working directly with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
  • Analyse and interpret data and prepare tax advice based on findings.
  • Preparation of tax reports.
  • Undertake a range of corporate tax advisory work.
  • Lead liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries.
  • Oversee junior staff, including monitoring workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities.
  • Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients.

Job Requirements

  • Qualified with a previous personal tax supervisory level role within practice.
  • 5 years of UK practice experience.
  • Portfolio management experience, including all commercial aspects.
  • Supervisory experience with good people management skills.
  • Strong understanding of current tax and general accounting UK regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
