Financial Accountant

Full Time (Mon-Fri)
£32,000 - £42,000 annually

As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Providing financial accounting support to the Senior Financial Accountant and the rest of the business
- Ensuring timely delivery of financial reporting, including supporting to develop a faster month-end close process and flash reporting
- Assist with grant management relating to any strategic partnership
- Working with other departments to ensure that changes in legislative requirements and business requirements are managed and supported
- Ensuring that any financial risks highlighted within the business are raised with the senior team and are mitigated through effective management
- Producing annual statutory accounts which comply with accounting standards
- Ensuring compliance and commit to process improvement and deliver change in financial controls, policies and procedures
To be successful as a Financial Accountant, you will need:
- ACMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified accountant with relevant experience
- Strong analytical and IT skills
- Experience of financial planning in a complex business environment
- To be a value-driven individual, committed to delivering excellent services for the customer
- To have an innovative and creative approach
- The ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
