As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Providing financial accounting support to the Senior Financial Accountant and the rest of the business
  • Ensuring timely delivery of financial reporting, including supporting to develop a faster month-end close process and flash reporting
  • Assist with grant management relating to any strategic partnership
  • Working with other departments to ensure that changes in legislative requirements and business requirements are managed and supported
  • Ensuring that any financial risks highlighted within the business are raised with the senior team and are mitigated through effective management
  • Producing annual statutory accounts which comply with accounting standards
  • Ensuring compliance and commit to process improvement and deliver change in financial controls, policies and procedures

To be successful as a Financial Accountant, you will need:
  • ACMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified accountant with relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and IT skills
  • Experience of financial planning in a complex business environment
  • To be a value-driven individual, committed to delivering excellent services for the customer
  • To have an innovative and creative approach
  • The ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
