Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
- Oversee and maintain the accuracy of the Group's financial records and reporting.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering their professional development.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and financial planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial processes and controls.
Key essentials of the Financial Controller:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
