Overview

Our client, a rapidly expanding and highly regarded professional services firm in the city centre is looking to bring a Financial Controller into their bespoke function to manage a small team of two, support on finance systems and provide bespoke reports and financial management to the wider team.

Reporting into a director, the successful candidate will be nurturing and supporting this small team. You will be working with a function of over one hundred colleagues with the goal of supporting clients their project management. Therefore, you will be accounting for variances and supporting with forecasting, working with large quantities of data to provide accurately and timely reporting along side partnering with a host of internal and external stakeholders.

Skills required

  • Ideally, you will have had experience in a supervisory or management setting.
  • Had exposure reporting in a professional services environment.
  • Ideally, you will be a finalist/newly qual candidate, still striving for progression in your new role.
  • The successful candidate must be a confident communicator, as this is a client facing position.
