We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team in the housing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analysing financial statements and reports, as well as improving financial procedures.

Description

  • Ensuring timely delivery of financial reporting
  • To be responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset register for the Group including all property, plant and equipment. Including systems that allow the property assets to be reported at cost or valuation and all component accounting entries to be recorded accurately.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensuring timely delivery of financial reporting
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and interpret information to make recommendations to upper management
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Coordinate with the team to complete audits and identify any issues for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and procedures
  • Ensure financial compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to optimise cost-efficiency
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the management level

Profile

A successful Fixed Asset Accountant should have:

  • Actively studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a financial accounting role within the property sector
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Outstanding numerical proficiency and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
