Are you an experienced General Ledger Accountant looking for a new opportunity? Eaton Syalon are currently working in partnership with an organisation who are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join their Finance team.
As the General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of financial records, helping to create positive change through sound financial management.Key Responsibilities:
Detailed balance sheet reconciliations for the GL; analysing variances between budgeted and actuals.
Financial Analysis Reporting.
Daily cash positions and projections.
Ensuring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices are approved in a timely manner.
Post accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income journals.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting to drive effective financial planning.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
Contribute to audit preparation and reporting.
Candidate Profile:
Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience.
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
