Due to expansion and internal progression, I’m working on a brilliant position for an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant to join a leading logistics business as a Senior Financial Accountant reporting directly into the Head of Group Reporting. The position is based in Birmingham City Centre with a hybrid working model.

You will be part of an ambitious team who are always looking to progress and push the business forward into different areas of the market. Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring group external reporting is delivered in time and in line with all current regulatory standards (UK GAAP).
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts on a monthly basis.
  • Support the business in financial decision-making and identifying areas for process improvement across the finance function.

  • Strong technical accounting skills with experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, ideally within a PLC environment.

  • Gain the ability to actively build relationships, communicate and influence all relevant stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of projects and make a real impact on the business over the next few years.
