A highly organised Interim Financial Reporting and Operations Controller is required to oversee the Accounting & Finance department of a market leading business in the hospitality industry. Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting and investment activities.
  • Overseeing compilation of statutory and regulatory reporting for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to align financial management with short- and long-term financial planning and projections.
  • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses.
  • Oversee the financial and operational performance of the company.
  • Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Reporting and Operations Controller should have:

  • A strong educational background in Accounting & Finance.
  • Professionally recognised Accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proven financial and operational management skills.
  • Experience in leading large teams of c. 20 pax.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Liaising with auditors for all queries regarding pension, insurance and banking.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory standards.
