We are looking for an experienced Interim Management Accountant. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and efficient budgeting and forecasting.You'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, driving process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders to help the business achieve its financial objectives.Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyse variances against budgets and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance, and identifying risks or opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decisions on costs, pricing, and investments.
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with department heads, senior management, and stakeholders to provide financial advice and support.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and support business growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in management accounting, ideally in housing, property management, or a related sector.
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
