About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Senior Capex Reporting Accountant to join a leading business. In this key role, you will take ownership of capital expenditure (Capex) reporting, providing strategic oversight and financial insight to drive effective Capex management and decision-making across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Capex Reporting: Lead monthly Capex reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the Capex budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Analysis & Insights: Perform detailed analysis of Capex performance, identify trends, and provide insights that support strategic initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Review, refine, and enhance Capex reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with key business leaders, project managers, and finance teams to align on Capex planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure Capex reporting complies with internal policies and regulatory standards, and assist with audits and other compliance reviews as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven track record in Capex reporting and accounting, preferably in a senior or management role within a large, complex organisation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial reporting systems and advanced Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly advantageous.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
